Our Jazz Educational Programs continue on January 28 with “Making Sense of Jazz,” led by Hall of Fame member and Savannah Jazz Orchestra Co-director, Randall Reese.  He will be accompanied by Hall of Fame member, Eric Jones on keyboard, Marc Chesanow on bass, and Robert Saunders on drums.  The group will discuss and demonstrate how jazz musicians communicate with one another and with the audience for a deeper understanding of jazz music using Duke Ellington’s “Take the A Train.”

Tours of the Savannah Jazz History Exhibit from 2:30 – 3:20 and the presentation in the theatre at 3:30.
