Mentored by the legendary Jimmy Smith in a classical B-3 organ style, Tony Monaco’s style of jazz has been classified as ‘burning’ rather than ‘smoldering.’  Playing since the age of 8-years, Tony’s first album was produced by famed jazz organist, Joey DeFrancesco in 2000.  This collaboration resulted in the critically acclaimed Burnin’ Grooves.  He has since toured around the globe with legends including Pat Martino.  Tony his 11^th international recording, The Definition of Insanity in 2019, which features Jam, Funk, Vocals, Italian Traditional, and Latin inspired tunes.  Tony teaches dynamic online and in-person students and serves as an Artist in Residence at Hope College.
