Navy Band Southeast’s VIP Combo performs a variety of jazz standards and popular instrumental music.  They are sure to add a touch of class to your official reception, luncheon, or military ball. This group is also showcased at various jazz festivals and schools throughout the southeast region. 

Since its establishment in 1995, Navy Band Southeast has been dedicated to providing top quality musical support throughout the Southeastern United States for Commander, Navy Region Southeast. Under the direction of Lieutenant Junior Grade Matthew Stuver, the band is located onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville and serves the military and civilian communities. 

The 45-member organization is comprised of professional musicians committed to the highest level of performance, each performing in various ensembles including ceremonial and parade bands, wind ensemble, the New Orleans style Deckplate Brass Band, the jazz VIP combo, the popular music group Pride, the Windward Brass Quintet and the Fairwinds Woodwind Quintet. Performing more than 350 engagements per year, these musical ambassadors inspire pride and patriotism for military ceremonies, public concerts, parades, school clinics and much more.
