The Jazz Band at Georgia State is a renowned ensemble that is well-regarded for its exceptional musical performances.  Composed of talented and passionate musicians, the band showcases a diverse range of jazz styles including swing, bebop, and fusion.  The group regularly performs at various events with its electrifying and soulful performances. The band is led by Dr. Gordon Vernick, a professional trumpeter who performs regularly with other professionals, and Kevin Bales, a renowned pianist.
