Savannah Jazz Festival Guidelines for Forsyth Park

In the interest of ensuring everyone fully enjoys the performances, we ask that all attending follow our guidelines.

Lawn chairs, coolers, and blankets are permitted.

Please refrain from bringing tents or beach umbrellas.  They are prohibited because they block the view for other attendees. Should you choose to bring them, kindly set them up along the park’s perimeter. For help locating these areas, seek out a Savannah Jazz volunteer.

Please refrain from standing or leaning on the barricades in front of the stage. Leaning on the barricades is unsafe, and standing in front of the stage can block the view for those seated on the lawn behind you.

No drone video or photography allowed.

No grills or open flames in the park.

Food and Beverage Selection.  A range of beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Additionally, a diverse assortment of food vendors and trucks will be featured for your dining pleasure.

There is no ATM in the park, please bring cash for purchases.

Extreme Weather Plan.  Should rain occur, the festival will continue as planned at Forsyth Park. However, in the case of lightning or thunder, the event will be relocated to an alternate venue.
